Axon7 is is owned by Insilico - www.insilico.dk - and is a spin off from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen and was founded in 2007.
The company is based in Copenhagen, Denmark and is funded through a combination of private investments and venture-backed capital.
Most of the employees work at the headquarter in Denmark, but some work is also handled by specialized consultants abroad.
All employees have a university degree within the field of Computer Science and the workforce includes specialists in optimization, concurrency, artificial intelligence, high performance computing and computer graphics.
Axon7 retains strong ties to the research community and is actively involved in courses teaching Computer Science students to develop massively parallel programs.
